Stone And Light By Janelle Marie Size: 48 X 48 A native of the Southwest, I found a home in the Sierras nearly 20 years ago. I am a freelance artist 31 years now painting a broad spectrum of subjects from landscape portraiture (both human and animal), sports, abstract, to outdoor paintings on plywood. A good portion of my abstract work can be seen in west coast businesses and homes as well as on the Big Island of Hawaii and throughout the United States. I often work with Interior designers and collectors to create custom concepts and very much enjoy the one on one exclusivity of private commissions. I produce originals only and specialize in creating one of a kind paintings for mountain and desert homes as well as commercial environments. Currently available in the Tahoe area is a wide variety of Horse paintings, Bears, Buffalo, Cattle and Cowgirls. For contemporary tastes, my abstracts have become quite popular... inspired by nature, organic in design. For information on new releases and showroom viewing, private commissions, consultations, or to see my portfolio, please call my personal representative, designer AnnDee Zeilinger at her stores in Truckee California (530)536-5046. Yardstick Coffee Table Size: 37Lx27Wx18H About Larry Berger - Into the Woods “Art has always been part of my life, it is what I excel at. All my work is a collaboration with nature and with things that were. I first started to use recycled material in my art when I was in college to keep down the cost of material. That put me on a long journey that evolved over time as did my art. Also, travels to many places like Santa Fe, with its Rio Grande high style & Indian art; the Adirondacks of NY and the craftsmen who built its great rustic camps, …all of this and more have bored into my psyche and shaped my eye. I consider myself an urban forester, before Green was Green, I have worked with recycled wood, urban milled wood and other vintage material. I not only use this material, but I am influenced and inspired by it. In my art, I aim to communicate through a sense of feeling or instinct. My art is not meant to have a meaning, instead I aspire to touch your sense of whimsy, to bring a smile to your face. Always working Green and loving it.” Learn More
