All my work is a collaboration with nature and with things that were. I first started to use recycled material in my art when I was in college to keep down the cost of material. That put me on a long journey that evolved over time as did my art. Also, travels to many places like Santa Fe, with its Rio Grande high style & Indian art; the Adirondacks of NY and the craftsmen who built its great rustic camps, …all of this and more have bored into my psyche and shaped my eye. I consider myself an urban forester, before Green was Green, I have worked with recycled wood, urban milled wood and other vintage material. Slippers - By Local Artist Linda Richardi 20x20 Linda Richardi is a Photographic-Artist and painter working in California. Linda has been an Artist for many years. Her work emcompasses hand colored photorography, mono printing, lithography, digital photographs, and most currently, Acrylic and mixed media paintings. Linda Richardi's work has been shown in multiple jurried exhibitions including UC Irvine and Exposure gallery in San Francisco. Linda's hand colored photo work was also the subject of a curated exhibition at San Francisco State. Linda Richardi's current work was featured in the 2016 show WATER AND LIGHT at the Palm Desert Civic Gallery and the 2017 La Quinta Museum exhibition Tell me a Story Women in Art as well as THE CREATORS at the CREATE center for the Arts in Palm Desert, CA Linda Kline-Richardi attended California college of Arts and Crafts and Diablo Valley College where she was a teaching assistant in the Photo department.
